It's almost as if his influence has one again indirectly helped remove the likes of Neymar, which has potentially freed up more money and influence for him.
I don’t know about that….I think he was in control regardless of Neymar

Isn’t this the second time Mbappe has used Madrid to get a new contract out of PSG?

Chelsea spending 888m in 3 windows is Financial Fair Play? What even are the rules anymore? Bonkers.

Saw a clear loop hole by buying young and sticking them on 8 year deals. Now have links with Saudi so can offload and make a return.

Issue will be the long game if they don't perform, the loss they'll make from selling them, and if they don't get regular champions league football.

The biggest issue for me is how it shapes the market. Genie is already out the bottle with how Man City have operated but we've reached a point where there's regularly £100mill players being sold now.

That isn't sustainable in the football economy.

Saw sommat today that says they are actually making ffp profit.
The way they gave structured their incoming players over 8 years, and then their sales, means they are due to turn a profit the next few years.

They still have a ton of players to offload as well. So they should he sound on player trading.
It's the p&s they might need to look at. Surely their wage bill is gonna be an issue.

Good explanation by Jordan here for those not understanding it.

Regardless of if they are compliant or not, its still a farcical situation that they can spend that much and the smaller clubs or clubs that have less revenue/didnt have a head start can only spend a fraction of this. Their is nothing "fair" about it. Just keeps the big boys at the top spending the most money

Yeah this is what I watched myself earlier. They are fine as long as they start performing. They can also probably sell a few non performers to Saudi Arabia if needs be as well and recoup some of the fees. I think what irks me about FFP is the likes of them and City got mega rich owners at the right time and have been able to spend freely for years and build winning teams and with that comes increased revenue. It’s going to be very difficult for the rest of us to ever challenge unless the stars align. We may as well be playing in a different league. If anything it’s created a bigger glass ceiling and we are just making up the numbers.
