Nah, Lucho will have no doubt ensured he had autonomy over football decisions so in theory he'd get a fair shot at minutes - plus, Enrique loves this sort of personality on the pitch

I am skeptical Simons stays however as he is strongly rumoured to play for RB Leipzig this season
