It doesn't matter where a club is in the league, every player purchase is a gamble to try and meet an objective, whether that be avoiding relegation, finishing midtable or European qualification. Reaching the group phase of the Conf League (only one knockout round against an unseeded team is required for that) is worth about 25m to a club between prize money, TV money, and match day revenue. Finishing 7th last season helped football earnings rise to 221m, about 40m more than finishing 14th/15th. That's an extra 65m in revenue which very much reduces the risk of the gamble becoming unstuckConference league is better than nothing I suppose, but nothing compared to the Champions league, they are gambling to go further next year, to be fair most clubs do at some point and most clubs like us come unstuck.
Fingers crossed he does imo. The sooner European football is drained of egotistical, money and image obsessed ballbags like him, the better.Imagine if he did though
Yes they are likely to go through a cycle where there revenues are not high enough but they do have done good assets to sell to rebuild in the futureConference league is better than nothing I suppose, but nothing compared to the Champions league, they are gambling to go further next year, to be fair most clubs do at some point and most clubs like us come unstuck.

Getting through one qualifying game guarantees all the games in the group phase, hence the size of the reward. But failure to qualify for Europe the following season, which is quite likely, wouldn't be a total failure as the players purchased will have capital value and it is another step and more experience in trying to become an established top 6 club. It won't happen in one season so the season's of trying to get there all halpReally ? Thought I basically said that. Though £25m for winning one game in the Conference league seems a bit steep. And the last bit if you don't qualify for Europe next year, then the gamble has failed. Small margins.

I see completely where u are coming from but don't us fans always want more. We were in the Championship a few years ago and all I wanted was a decent manager and promotion. Then I wanted to stay in the PL, then I wanted midtable, then I wanted a better manager. Its a never ended wanting moreYeah I see that, but you say one season that can easily become two and I'm not wishing that by any means, then like us the lethargy can set in, players become fed up, managers get under pressure, it's hard to get out of. The most I personally hope for really for us is mid table safety and a decent cup run and that's if we buy a decent striker.
Most footballers that go to ME compromise their morals when they sign for a club0% chance he takes any Middle East deal as hes been dating a transgender for a while now.

I think the Qataris at PSG have done a deal with the Qataris trying to buy Man Utd and are setting it up for a transfer to United if the sale goes throughI can't see him going anywhere else other than Real.
If its about money he would stay at PSG, he is payed 1 million per week there and entrusted with dictator like powers
