Yeah but so do players playing for the Belarusian champions.....(may not be factually accurate)

He's good enough to be a main player at a competitive side in a top league, not someone making up the numbers
He’s 30. He is not as quick as he was and is more susceptible to injury. (Missed the last 4 games of the season). That time is passed.

Those two Fulham signings seem poor to me (big picture).

Zaha to Gala also makes no sense. How much could they be paying him? Surely not more than £200k a week -- £10mil a year on a 3 year deal seems like a good deal for plenty of clubs.

Zaha does not have your average footballer mindset. He wants to play at the highest level he can get (Champions League) before the end of his career.
The £200k a week was only secondary for a man who is pretty well off anyway and gives 10% of his salary to charity (has done since his first professional contract.) So Galatasary probably offering less dough but more chance to achieve an ambition.
Exactly the opposite of Henderson.

Surely he could find a better side in the champions league than Gala ?

Even if he may have lost 'something' out wide, hes still got a good case as a centre forward (and vice versa).

He still might I suppose but not a top European side. He’s 30 and more injury prone now.
He can play through the middle but there are still some sides that play in a style that needs a 9 so that wouldn’t suit him.

Zaha has always struck me as a guy who wants to be the big fish. He’ll be that there.

Thought the same. Based on the last few years I’m surprised one of the big Serie A teams isn’t in for him; I’ve always thought he was rated a bit too highly, but he could do a job for a bigger CL team than Galatasaray, surely.

whats the pull with turkey by the way?

i remember them buying loads of players on the cheap, they normally don't spend big bucks

are they offering good wedge? must be as good as the saudi's im guessing cos you would think someone like zaha would go to saudi to get P's over a turkish club

I think living in Turkey is vastly different to Saudi.
