Didn’t MLS get a salary cap introduced at one point, or have I dreamt that?

Not sure on the money that’s been mooted for his latest contract, but pretty sure he’s been the highest paid player for a good few years.(until the head choppers rocked up by the looks of it).

The TV deal with Apple has helped but Messi has apparently been offered, as a subsidiary, revenue sharing deals with both Apple and Adidas to get it done. Him signing has also rocketed Inter Miami’s club value up from $600m to $1bn, from what was a $25m purchase by David Beckham

I don’t usually what them lot get up to but I’ll be seriously pissed if they land Kone and Thuram.
