I had similar fears with Lacazette and he's been brilliant. I think people underrate the French league because there aren't any top teams beyond PSG. The reality might be that the level of players overall isn't that far off but it tends to be more spread meaning the teams at the top don't compete with the other top leagues in Europe regularly. And they lack the money to keep star players around. But there is definitely talent.

Dark horses for 6th more like.

Arsenal will finish ahead of Spurs this season, and obviously both Liverpool and City will also. United, Chelsea and Spurs jostling for 4th, 5th and 6th imo, no big difference between them all.

Think it'd be more juve have played a shocker. I doubt united even enquired about him, they just said their price and juve thought they'd need to chuck in a player as they wouldn't afford the amount.

Sure United would have been happy with someone like mandzukic instead. Let's see if it happens though.

Pogba with a ‘back injury’ so likely to sit out Utd’s next pre-season game. I assumed with Bale’s move from Madrid off that Pogba would stay at Utd but maybe not.

He’s an idiot but he’s by far and away Utd’s best player.
