"Crystal Palace new boy Florian Marange has revealed he plans showdown talks with the club after being left out of their 25-man Premier League squad."

He's 27, signed on a decent wage by the sound of it but just left out of the squad without being given a reason. Seems stupid on Palace's part and a ****ty on the lad.

Holloway has spent the whole of the last 2 months writing column after column about the madness of the transfer window, how its so crazy, shut it shut it now, agents and wages blah blah blah-- but this all comes down to him. absolute poor form to sign players 'just in case' and then leave them out when you get someone better. they can't do a thing at all until FA cup time??

Same with Scott Dobbie.

Basically they signed these lads early in the window without expecting to be able to get other, better players in later. But they did manage to.

I rememeber having the same debate with a few on here about Spurs. I was saying they have sold their British core for fancy foreign names, and the players they have brought in are not better than those they sold...I waspretty much battered for it....!
