The Bournemouth game was worth every penny of his transfer fee.

I mean I am struggling to think of any other memorable games over the past couple of seasons.

If we cant win something, at least entertain me.

Sandro is still loads worse than him.
We also had Tom Davies play a great ball into misses for him to slot. Very rare that

At least Bernie Wright didn't hang about. this could only have happened to us and with Cuco we got done twice over.

What an expensive exercise in absolute incompetence his signing was. 4 years plus on big money, for a league 2 standard player. The fault was the clubs not his, he was a crap footballer, but, he didn’t set his own transfer fee and must have been amazed and delighted in equal measure when he saw the contract on offer.

Ah well a bit more expensive garbage out the door, onwards and upwards and all that.

Bye Prince. I am actually going to miss seeing an Everton player tripping over his own legs and scoring with his crotch.

Lovely guy, atrocious footballer who basically stole a wage, through no fault of his own though to be fair.

Remember thinking after a couple of months he would go down as our most expensive flop. That didn't last too long.

At the time he must have been our 3rd or 4th most expensive signing after Lukaku and Felliani.

I think plenty of Blues respected he gave his all and more when he got on the pitch, however, I lost it for him when he reportedly turned down loan move after loan move after his spells at Hull and Cardiff in what seemed to be in his pursuit of his big wage here.

He's in his late 20s (peak years for a player) yet he doesn't seem too interested in playing football.

In years to come, when you sit your Grandkids on your lap & tell them the story of the Sweet Prince of Goodison, they'll wonder in awe!

What a time to be alive!!!

Bit of a nothing player, spent time on loan, Ironically saved Koemans job, made a few appearances, scored a few goals, never excelled but certainly not the worst signing we have made. Him leaving on a free wont have a major effect on me or the club I imagine.

Some great comments on here about him not actually being able to play football. All I can say as someone who equally 'can't play football' then; is I would be well pleased with 141 goals as a professional footballer, 3 of them for my country from 9 international caps!

Not the desired quality for us - we all know that - but not quite as dire as some would suggest.

Obviously the prem is to big for him because he stood out as gash amongst even our squad, and that's been bang average for years, he became a parody but I don't blame him ofcourse, if Everton put a 5 year contract at 100k a week in front of me then obviously I'd sign quick before they realised I have zero ability to even run with a ball

Im not sorry hes gone at all, he was a poor player who contributed little and added to our cost base and stopped the club progressing, i dont blame him for that but a symbol of a symptom of lack of progress at the club.

Ill chalk him up as this eras Bret Angel.
