So The Guardian were spot on yesterday about Niasse, despite people doubting them.

People would do well to remember that they're a good source, next time the jarg rumours come along.

As i tried to say the other day mate, he has pace, but not a burner, quick burst he does have which is often the most important part, praying that i am wrong about him as looks like this could end up going through

Oh yep mate wasn't disagreeing. It's hard to describe it in any other way really. He has pace over that 10 yards that matters but isn't someone who can keep that pace up over say 30 yards or so - e.g Lennon, Del. Different types of players obviously.

I think he could be a good signing, just depends what people's expectations are. His movement seems really good, which would seem to at least indicate he will be the ideal partner for Rom up top. As I said, his runs from out to in do look very clever and he has that pace that Kone doesn't have over that five yards to be able to get away from his marker. But the defending (as bad as it sometimes over here) is obviously a cut above what it is in Russia.

...cameras at FF and pictures of him in his white Range Rover.

Never seen this kid play eggs but if it adds some competition up top ( as you've mentioned previously ) is an improvement on Naismith then I'm all for it.

As with all new signings who are attackers, hope he gets off the mark quickly and hits the ground running.

I'm not Bobbys biggest fan by any stretch but he's done well in the transfer market imo so fingers crossed this will be an astute signing

My mate who supports Lokomotiv actually rates him higher than i do when i spoke to him earlier about him, so hoping I'm wrong on this one as he has seen him a lot more than i have.

Then again he thought N'Doye would be a success at Hull...

The Guardian also broke the story that we were heavily in for Payet too. But because he went to West Ham, they were unreliable and we weren't in for him!
