To look at it from the other side.

The team are struggling, you need to bring someone in because your first target isn't going to be bought. Fans are growing restless and you get offered a rising star in the game so on impulse you decide to sign him. He could be the game changer which kicks you on for a good season.

Then standing on the touchline, seeing him play whilst the ship is sinking around you? Can't imagine how that feels, one thing knowing you are losing your job but another to see the one last roll of the dice end up being Niasse.

My concern is that Palace quickly establish he's pony, and he just sits on there bench all season, meaning we have an even harder job of shifting in years time

Bill Kenwright has a lot to answer for for wasting £14 million on this waste of space.
No I blame Bobby brown shoes, he wanted him, you can't blame the board for providing the funds.
This should be taken into account when he appeals for dismissal compo. By rights he should owe us.

It's just such a mind-boggling episode this. It truly baffles me brain. Why is he so [Poor language removed]? Was he always so [Poor language removed]? If so, how did he get away with being sold for £13.5 million? There's [Poor language removed] transfers and there's this, it totally usurps anything else I can think of. He couldn't even get on the pitch FFS! I've said this before but it's like when Souness played Ali Dia, but we've actually paid a lot of money for the privilege. Setting aside the whole blame thing, how in the actual fook did this signing happen and why is he so bad?

dear lord it's like you've never seen a crap transfer before. we needed a striker after selling naismith so overpaid for "potential" Obviously he's uber gash but it happens. there's no conspiracy
