I was actually thinking that too. Was reported as £6.5m right up until the day before, then another £3m appeared out of nowhere on the end of the fee. We may well be hearing stories of Panamanian bank accounts with the name R. Martinez on them in the Telegraph in the coming weeks.

Im not doubting that he isn't Messi or Ronaldo, but I think anybody judged solely on the minimal time he has had under the back end of the Martinez regime is wrong. I would of liked to have seen him around the cup games or games like Bournemouth in the last 10 minutes, if he comes good (miracle to some) then we either keep or sell for more money than we are going to currently get right now.
