He's a loose cannon. Now that's just fine in some random, awful league such as Russia or Turkey where there are 2 or 3 good sides and the rest are total cack as they're going to win all the time and the only things that matter are the 2 or 4 big matches a season. You can't be a loose cannon in the modern game at the top levels because you're just not going to deliver, work hard, be in the right place at the right time to give and go (or indeed, shoot and score) and fit in with teammates. No doubt half his problems with Everton was signing in January not the Summer and be expected to adapt to the PL quickly (not easy for a young man) and a new country and a really struggling team which we were. His sights have been somewhat lowered of late and he's apparently done ok with our U23s (maybe Unsy put an arm around him..) but he's just not PL standard.. Going to a team with less expectations might be good for him and Hull - they've got nothing to lose and neither has he.
 
I watched the game for about 2 minutes. In that time I saw him barely take the ball past a player and cross it straight into the crowd. I chuckled to myself and stopped watching.

But it turned out he had a great game??

I wouldnt say great but much better then we thought and proberbly to a good standard for Hull City, not sure his play would be good enough for an Everton shirt but ive seen several strikers have much worse games in blue then he had tonight
