Oumar Niasse

Sometimes you just find your level and it fits, looks like Oumar has found his.

Whether it's a pressure thing who knows, generally we play one up top and you have to be better than Lukaku or at least prove you can link up well together. Perhaps that did him in from the start or Hull play to his strengths, whatever it would be a big risk bringing him back. (Think Rom back at Chelsea after a successful loan spell)

I'm made up for the lad though, doing what he is supposed to be doing and scoring goals. I echo the comments made that I hope Hull stay up and keep him on.

Whatever I said, whatever I said I didn't mean it, Oumar I want you back for good. Oh heck is that take that? Streuth I have lost it.....

anyone else starting to think that he wouldn't actually be the worst idea to keep as our 3rd/4th choice? If he keeps scoring at this rate for hull, i hope we're cheeky enough to try and actually make a profit on him. I think it may just be down to their manager being an absolute miracle worker tbh because yeah, he did look like one of the worst things i've ever seen in an everton shirt.

We cant keep him, that ship has long sailed. People are still treating him like a Beazer Homes league player even when he is scoring goals in the top flight and the manager doesnt rate him obviously.

He really never got a chance for us. Its very rare that a player will come in from abroad and hit the ground running. Combine that with a (bizarre) injury, personal problems and coming into a team that had given up the ghost ages ago with an under pressure manager and a sizable fee then he never really stood a chance.

exactly, everyone wants geri to come home, but he had 2 full seasons plus of chances at times when we in good patches as well. But nobody wants Niasse. I can envisage how his first training session under koeman, failing to control a ball, falling over it, slicing a shot into a nearby road and koeman there with a face like "seriously, wtf" and then niasse was never going to have a chance haha

We sell him, we already need to sell kone and give valencia back and then buy two more strikers to play second fiddle to rom. It's an awful lot of work. Why not just buy one backup, keep niasse and say he may grab us 5 or 6 goals in the season like he's done at hull in just a handful of games.

I wouldn't want to be in our managers shoes if we sell lukaku ha he'd have to try and find 4 strikers, two keepers, two centre backs, a right back, probably a left back and two attacking midfielders in one window haha as well as selling about 8.

Maybe, won't see backheels out of play though.

You probably would if you looked hard enough. Barkley for all his ability does at east one stupid sloppy pass a game. Most players do. Its just unfortunate that Niasse did it whilst our angry eyes were all watching him intently waiting for him to mess up.

He did it in pre-season too when plenty, myself included, we're ready to give him a clean go at it. His inability to control a ball against Jablonec was the beginning and end of it.
