Our decent playing performances came after he was injured. We were then forced to abandon the route one stuff and he allowed these players to get on the ball and play it like they were trained to do.
Which is what I've been saying for months, hard to not be our most productive player when everything revolves around you. Using him as a funnel blatantly didn't work and the results directly after the injury just highlights it.
We will see when he gets back, and is still as unconvincing as he has been his entire career. If he wasn't bang average nobody would be having this debate.
