Oumar Niasse

Reports coming out of Austria that Koeman was using this time to evaluate his squad and having seen Niasse in action, he doesn't feel he needs to sign another striker.

I'm willing to give him another chance under Koeman.
Looked shocking the end of last season but honestly there were only few who didn't.

If we were basing opinions on the last few months of Martinez reign then Stones would be going for a fraction of the price he will go for and Lukaku would be a laughing stock - Niasse put him to shame at times, even with his reported crapness.

Lets see him with a full pre-season under a manager who has a clue and if he is still awful then write him off.

Think he’ll still do better then milik would of, still not to much faith in the lad but 4/5 goals plus the winner at anfield will soon bag him a cult status before getting sold off to some turkish team

What if he turns out to be the next Naismith in that in his first season fans weren't seeing the best of him but as he settled in he gave us 110% .. Technically not the greatest but gave it his all ..... Just a thought

It's not so much that he just wasn't playing well, it was completely obvious to most that he doesn't posses a footballing brain, any more than say, a librarian. Then there were the hints coming out from the team (Rom being one..) and it was obvious something very wrong had happened. Would love to be wrong, all of us would, but that's not going to happen.

Then we will have been absolutely robbed. We thought we were robbing Norwich for selling a Naismith standard player to them for 8 million. Then we go out and buy somebody even worse for 14 million.

The fact they are pairing him up with Duncan seems a good sign that they are trying to incorporate him into squad.

I think he will grab some goals in pre-season if he comes through and he will play a part in Koeman's 1st team.

Niasse is DC to Lukaku's Marvel mate.

Ya know what, if we get Niasse fit feel we can morph him into some sort of wrecking ball super sub. Clearly he doesn't know what he's trying to do so by extension the opposition won't have a clue either, lucky rebounds and tired legs everywhere. He might be useful to us yet, if deployed in the right way.
