To be honest, and I'm not playing down getting relegated. But Premier League doesn't appeal to me anymore. I've completely lost interest. I honestly couldn't care about playing in the Championship if it's not for the money issue. Whats gonna happen next season? Another fight at the bottom or mid table mediocrity? Some Evertonians need a reality check too. it peed me off how so many turned their nose up at Eddie Howe on here and look what hes created at Newcastle. And how practically everyone thought it was a good idea to get Lampard in.

I think Howe is a good manager, always have, what he did at Bournemouth was very impressive. But to be fair he has had a bunch of Saudi money to help him out. If we got him at the time he probably would have been sacked by now due to us not being able to change the squad around easily.

Haven’t they spent over £200m on Guimares, Isaac, Gordon, Wood and Joelinton? Two of those don’t even get starts and Lampard managed to line up with Maupay after about six games of the season where he had no striker (which was arguably better)

Newcastle have seen nothing but progress under Howe. Lampard's record in last 19 (managing both Everton/chelsea) games has been 1 win, 2 draws and 16 losses. Meanwhile Chelsea have spent about half a billion this season, and Lampard can't even get a draw managing Chelsea, let alone a win.

Howe has had very good players bought for him for huge money but is doing a good job managing them so good for him. My point was that Lampard is a bad manager and Eddie Howe is a really good manager. You're gone as far as too actually state that Lampard is a terrible manager now, but you're still undermining Howe's achievements at Newcastle (and now amazingly his time with Bournemouth).
