As a kid, I remember my granddad setting up 2 - 3 - 5 to play me at subbuteo.

Not really concerned at all if Haaland beats Dixies' record. Can't see what difference it makes, to be honest.

Only ten men he must have had it easy then - 5 forwards did they play substitutes in those days .... it was 3 4 5 formation - the offside law was different too as was the leather case ball, & the pitches - but as I stated the same laws for all CF's in Dixies era ...... he was the best as the adulations show within the game at that time ..... A Madam Tussauds honour, & a statue outside our ground ......
