Goodison with terraces was brilliant - my older brother told me the best spec in the ground was the old Bullens road paddock at the back when it had terracing before they put in the lower stand & you could only stand in the front of the paddock -Those would just join the thousands of others around the ground that couldn't see part of the goal.
It was dry & a great close up view of the pitch being raised up at the back ... ended in the early 1960s - the seats are still the original ones now I think ?
