Whatever happened to the "Sons of Glyndwr"
They've probably all got 2nd homes they rent out, only jokingThey all married sheep and lived happily ever after ?
There you go lidoI used to know a great welsh sonnet years ago but can’t fully remember it now, roughly translated into English it went something like..
I’ve got my matches
My pieces of paper
A gallon of petrol
And a sheep for later
I can’t remember the rest
Beautiful words though which sounded so much sweeter in my native tongue
Only if we English can join in and be liberated from the English too.Huge fan of the Welsh.
I stand with them and Mr Glyndwr in their quest for freedom from the English.
Rise Cymru RISE
???????
Can you go to my thread.Only if we English can join in and be liberated from the English too.
Glndwr was the leader of the French army that helped the Welsh to push the English back to Chester- he was short lived.....Today is National Owain Glyndwr day here in Wales. A day when we remember the true Prince of Wales.
