Mobile is still sticking but I thought I'd see what a devil extension to chrome might do to desktop and it sorted it.

I came here to see if it had been reported. It happens on my mobile everytime I load a page. The page just freezes. I then have to wait and wait until that annoying little popup ad at the bottom loads.
It's pretty much making the site unusable on mobile.

It may just be my end i dont know, but at times the last 2 days, i have began to get pages sticking and needing to go off to open again - but thought i would say it anyway, incase others are getting it.

Correct. They've worked out the problem - it's protection vendor. It was turned off and the site was working fine. They assured our ad partner on Friday it was fixed so it was turned back on Friday afternoon. I've had same issue since...

Still happens on my phone when the pop up/banner thing appears at the bottom.
Put adblock on my desktop (temporary) to see if it helped a week.or so back and it fixed the issue, and blocks the pop up/banner thing at the bottom

For perspective, my PC has frozen twice since they turned it back on. It does not do this during any activity other than using the website.
I think they have a RAM leak. My antivirus considers whatever is happening malign.

The problem with pages locking/freezing is a protection vendor that exists to prevent malicious ads.
I turned it back off yesterday so if 11:30AM so if it's happened again since then, it's a local issue.
It's not an issue exclusive to here - it's likely just noticed here because we're a forum/amount of page loads. Looking close to home, we use same ad partner as ToffeeWeb and NSNO. They have the same thing.
Would suggest a new antivirus if it's flagging anything on here as it's utter BS.

It’s the pop up ads at the bottom , whenever they appear the forum becomes a chore to browse as everything becomes unresponsive or lags and this is on the latest versions of Safari, Chrome and Edge.
It’s a shame too as the forum is really nicely designed but these ads are clearly affecting the user experience.
