Anyone with kids able to offer words of comfort to ease the pain of a 5 year old girl that seems to have epic tantrums daily lately? Is this normal or should we be worried?!

Is it? She even hit/bit herself this evening and said she hates herself! Over the smallest thing. Just wonder if this is common or a sign of possible deeper issues.

My girls are 4 and 2. 99% of the time they're fine, but when they have tantrums boy they're crazy. It's perfectly normal.
If it's a bit more often than usual, possibly a change in a dynamic at the school with friends etc.

No,but my Grandson had a poop in his potty and my daughter asked what to do with said poop.....

Thank you. Will speak to them tomorrow. I really worry about mental health issues for kids growing up now. But didn't think it'd be this soon.

Hitting and biting is a normal reaction, seen it with my daughter who is 30 now, also in my 4 year old grandson. It's a sign of their frustration of not being able to fully vocalise their feelings.

Kids are brutal to each other aren't they and they haven't the emotional tools to deal with it.

There's no point in trying to reason with them when they're in that state. It's hard but try to stay calm if you can.
She will grow out of it mate.
