Anyone with kids able to offer words of comfort to ease the pain of a 5 year old girl that seems to have epic tantrums daily lately? Is this normal or should we be worried?!

It's a sign of their frustration of not being able to fully vocalise their feelings. Is it? She even hit/bit herself this evening and said she hates herself! Over the smallest thing.
