I’ll limit mine to three:
Megan Keith in the 10, 000m. Was lapped but fantastic for a22 year old who is/was fairly local that she once passed me in a night orienteering event about 7 years ago and I “ shared” cross country meetings with her once upon a time, all be it different courses.

Georgia Bell’s gutsy run , sticking with a pace that should have been beyond her and still battling out with gritty determination to get a Bronze.

Sifan Hassan’s majestic marathon win.

Oh , I should also add Tom Pidcock for fighting back from a puncture , getting into medal contention with brilliant riding , and taking the Gold by making a brilliant audacious move that had the dual bonuses of annoying the whole French nation and Dave 🙂
