….from what I’ve seen we appear to have been on the wrong end of a few dodgy officiating calls.
Two of the lady boxers looked hard done by in defeat then yesterdays Three Day Event decision seems baffling. Going into the cross-country GB had a significant lead in the team event. All 3 riders then went clear in the X Country with only a minor time deduction. It gave them plenty in hand going into today’s show jumping, certain gold. Then some time later the last rider was given 16 penalty points for hitting some of the flags at the side of the fence.
I watched the event earlier and noticed a horse hitting the flag and the commentator mentioning it didn’t matter as long as the horse jumps the fence cleanly. GB had an appeal lasting 6 hours but the deduction remained. It still leaves them in the lead but it’s a precarious lead from - FRANCE

….one dive to go but a terrific effort so far from Daley/Williams. Sitting comfortably in silver with the Chinese untouchable for gold.
For some reason I seem to tune in when women’s judo is on, and it is pretty awesome.
