Park End annexe - 'not going to happen now'

own man? yet follow a proven inept liar? whatever.lol. and it would be easier to get a new board if people lacking intelligence didnt give them creedence by sitting on their a###es doing nothing except sticking up for them. i think a gnome would have enough nouse to see through this shower of incompetant liars.

OK smart arse, any cretin can criticise. What's your realistic solution to solve the problem?

I'm all ears.

To be fair, there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting both sides of a story before making a judgement. I have heard from plenty of people that the Park End land is subject to legal wrangles for all sort of reasons but I don't blame anyone for wanting a variety of sources before they take one as gospel.

But it still sounds like the usual arse over tit way of doing things...

Kings Dock - Never had the money to every make that happen.

Kirkby - Never had the full permission to build that stadium as it was intended.

Annex - Legal "wrangles" delaying the thing...may even fall through.

The one thing you can say about the board is that they dont know how to take the club forward if at all without cutting corners.

To be honest Silas, I gave my opinion at the time about the build. I said that it was not sensible to build such a structure, however well intended before you resolve the issue of footprint for Goodison Park. To me its arse about face. People can call that criticism of the board if they wish, but I don't think they're the spawn of the devil because of the decision they've made.

And yes, given the history of both sides (KEIOC & the Board), I'd rather have both versions rather than simply believing one side or the other.

And I wouldn't argue with any of that but I try and examine each bit of news/evidence on a case by case basis. It is the best way to get to the truth of a matter. Rather than using the previous failures and the pre-conceived ideas I have of the board, I try to keep a level head and look at each issue individually.

You''ll be waiting a long time before this is finally acknowledged officialy as dead in the water. The club kicked this into the long grass for 12 months back in March.

I would rather have both KEIOC and the Board's version of events as well as a few independents but I am a bit of a pain in the arse like that ;)

The nature of communications with the club is that it has always been a waiting game. I don't expect that to change in the short term.

You'll wait a year. That's the point I'm making in relation to your 'we need multiple sources to cast judgement'. We dont. You of all people know the network KEIOC has to pull on to not cast any doubt on their claims.

Not casting any doubt on KEIOC's claims at all. I am more than aware that they have a vast array of professionals at their disposal but their are two sides to every story so I don't judge anyone who doesn't take their account as gospel. From a personal standpoint I have no doubt that the board have ballsed up on Park End in all sorts of ways. That doesn't mean I don't want to read and see as many different viewpoints and sources as possible.

Artists must love us for the amount of impressions we have them doing.

It's the building thing that were sh*te at.

Seiously mate, all told (KD/DK/this latest abortion) they must have pissed the best part of £6-7M up against the wall on design and legal bills.

This lot are determined the club doesn't fall into "wrong hands" though!

It'd be funny if it wasn't so ****ing tragic.

Could've bought us a Chicherito or a Van Der Vaart that coin....

Their little masquerade of being open neck shirt wearing modern executive types will disappear completely in 99% of the fans eyes if this thing doesn't come off. No matter how much PR they sprinkle over the top.

I worry about where were heading if/when Moyes sacks us off.

yeah they must have. must have ****ed up on kings dock. Probably should've won the league. I reckon they probably deserve having their house burnt down.

Probably must have like.

How about we wait until we hear the news....nah, that wont fit into the pro-whinge agenda. Honestly davek. Beyond attacking the board on this forum, what else is there to do?

I reckon the board are ****e. Maybe in one to twelve months there'll be another thing to crucify them for. But jumping the gun just shows how little objectivity you possess in these matters.

I see a vision of Martin Jol in a pink tutu and a fairy godmothers wand.
