Dirty Dancing, how's that for an iconic film of it's era. Incredibly corny but soooo watchable.
I confess to having attended more than one DD night when we'd order pizza, (avec e sans ananas) drink wine and watch DD and more precisely Patrick's beautiful body. Those were the days when we all thought we could dance!.

57 is no age. Seemed an alright guy as well, didn't hear of him getting full of his own hype and acting a queg, or chatting guff and blaming the drink.

Watched that last night. Theres depth to Swayze's character I never really noticed before.

For me his best role was in Donnie Darko a lot of depth to that creepy arsed character he played in that film other than that for me at least his acting just left me with a meh feeling.

Nasty way to go though showed a lot of dignity through it all.

Swayze was far from my favorite actor, and he did appear in some stinkers, saw Ghost once, that was enough, Roadhouse was kind of good, although Jean Claude Van Damme would of been a better choice, released in 1989, the Belgian was in his element then.

Black Dog with MeatLoaf, what was that all about, the latter went on to appear with Brad Pitt in Fight club.

Most famous role ever has to be Dirty Dancing, I think he';ll be remembered most for that.

He was offered $6 million to make a sequel to it but declined.

He was going to play a big part in Predator 2, Danny Glover got the role instead.

Would of played half of Tango and Cash, but chose roadhouse instead, Kurt Russell got the part instead.
