I may have my timings off but I believe he was appointed, (on the basis of how he dealt with SoS), by Bill to deal with the Blue Union, as per usual Bill would have thought he was rescuing someone's career and would therefore be owed some sense of probity and loyalty. It's unlikely he would have dug too deep into Tyrell's background, partly out of not wanting to know, mainly out of stupidity. And, I believe you are right he was 'asked to leave' the other places and visits to other forums for those teams would possibly unearth a pattern of sorts. I hope the r/s or SoS go after him tbh

For sure, there are plenty of things the club can do to be better, of that I've no doubt. These kind of things generally aren't that though, they're either attacks on individuals or criticism of what people perceive we're doing wrong.
The former I have no time for, whilst the latter is usually done without any inside knowledge and usually offers few constructive or realistic alternatives. If you don't know the constraints people work under then it's unfair to comment imo.
As with most things, there are ways of going about things, and this is all a bit tabloid like for my tastes.
