In fairness apart from a fluke win with your lot he’s not done that well has he? Completely messed up at Inter and Madrid, he didn’t even muster as good a title challenge as Brendan Rodgers whilst at Liverpool. He was good until about May 2007 and then has been going backwards ever since.

In fairness to Allardyce he seems to be able to neuter Liverpool fairly easily but that’s about his only redeeming quality.
