Mate I really don’t think the squad is that bad, we just need a proper manager, I can see moshiri finding 150m for him in the summer.

No way was he leaving Shaktar while they were in the CL but he still interviewed for the job, the plan was for Unsworth to see out the season but we panicked and give Allardyce a contract where we could get rid for a few mill in the summer.

I think the squad is woeful mate.

The whole backline apart from Coleman is a complete shambles. The midfield doesn' have any legs or energy ( even when Gana plays it' not enough, we just aren't mobile enough)

Badly imbalanced in key areas.

About 7 players ( that's me being generous ) need binning, get what we can for them ( I'd take 6-7m for Morgan, 10m for Keane, 8m for Klassen for starters) and start again with a manager with a proper plan and a DoF ( if we have to go down this stupid route) who knows what he's actually doing.

But ( and it's a big but I know ).... we want more, we want to see better, we want to see progress, we want to see that there is a plan in place, that there's a reason behind what we are trying to do.

All I see is a mess of a club with no direction, no identity, just going from one calamity to another.

I'm livid mate, not because of City, they are a quality side and I have no issue with that. I have an issue though with 11 players looking scared shitless to throw a tackle in or have a go at each other and try to organise themselves and push each other on.

After 2 minutes ( before they scored ) I was thinking "hmmm, this is a 5-6 nil loss". Everything about it was wrong.

We don't have any gobshoites in the team. City were taking the p1ss out of us at walking pace today and the only tough challenge was one from Jags halfway through the second half. We needed a snide to have a bit of a scuffle, gee the crowd up, put them off their game. Williams has done it a couple of times this season so we need more of that (bit people who can play football too so counts fat Ash out)

If he comes then he needs to be given 2-3 seasons to implement a plan and the funds to do it. He also needs someone more competent than Walsh to oversee scouting and recruitment. He definitely seems to be the brightest talent we could attract at the present time.

The reality is that we unworthy curs are not known for our patience.
You are spot on though but we would need to see a "work in progress" on the field of play for the masses to cut whomever takes us on, some slack.
