We could if we binned the 'that player is [Poor language removed] as soon as he makes a mistake/we're too cool/SIT DOWN LAD' culture we've developed at Goodison over the years. The club could help here too, but they don't seem that bothered.

I stop reading when it says ball playing fullback and deep lying playmaker.

We have non.

The last clown who insist we played this way nearly got us relegated.

We need fast pacy counter attacking style, not fancy build from the back when our whole defensive unit including Schneiderlin and Gana can't pass and can't create.

Yep exactly. That type of footie just doesnt do it for us.We need the old gwladys street back. No atmosphere.Its a shambles. Sing a song now they call it koppite behaviour. I remember we used sing song after song before. Proper enjoyment.

Who, Martinez? Hardly 'nearly got us relegated'
I think you're right about the stile of play at Goodison, but if it's done right it could be a hit. There was a good atmosphere for Martinez's first season. Now we've got a decent keeper too!

Even pep Guardiola ditch the fancy tippy tappy and go for direct pacy wing play in order to achieve anything meaningful in this league. Do you realise how fast city plays the ball forward this season?

I don't see us being anything close to effective if we go with this unrealistic passing approach. It's an impossible style to get success in this league.
 
Maybe we should consider Gian Piero Gasperini, he's doing a good job at Atalanta!
How about Nuno Espírito Santo, doing a great job at Wolves, Andre Villas Boas offer him some Premiership redemption he is still only 40. Luis Enrique is still out of work
