The thing with Everton is,even if we want someone,a boss,player,whatever,instead of sorting it,or trying to do a deal before anyone else etc,its almost like we wait for another team to come in 1st before we attempt the deal,ie so we might have an excuse if the deal didnt happen etc

People dont always want to sign, Fonseca and his Agent arent stupid, why should they take the first job that comes along? It makes more sense for them to wait and see what other jobs come along, its the same with players, everybody wants the best deal they can, which means they wont jump into bed with the first club that flutters their eyes at somebody.
Sure we can offer people good money, but so can lots of other clubs.
Oh well. Didn't even get a chance boo him.

What has Silva truly done that makes him the manager we want going forward? Nothing I have seen from him makes me want him here. Fonseca is a risk imo but I do like his style.

Given that Fonseca is represented by Mendez and Wenger is supposedly having a hand in choosing his successor, it would seem highly unlikely he'd decide to be recommending him at a guess.
smart money would be on Jardim at Monaco, the likes of Rodgers i can see being clamoured for in the Media - all the usual go British stuff
Gonna be interesting as their fans seem to think they will be going for the likes of Allegri etc, think they will be shopping not quite at that table, whoever comes in has an absolutely massive task on their hands though, Wenger even more so than Ferguson was in charge of absolutely everything at Arsenal.

The money is there in the bank to buy big it’s just a matter of Kronke releasing it , and that’s not a given
Plus he has a solid base of 6/7 top quality players to start with plus a reasonably decent squad
All somebody has to do is mention the word Arsenal to Paulo, then when he says something like "Yeah, Arsenal is a big club", boom hes favourite, the fact that Brenda is 3/1 suggests that nobody has a clue who might even be considered.
Also dont forget it helps his "cause" if his name is even linked to a club like Arsenal.
