You can't write off a PL relegation that easily. His teams have conceded too many goals. He sets up way too openly to ever be a success in the prem.
Actually would be worse than Martinez.
 
Every few hours the rumours change, one minute its Fonseca to Arsenal then it isn't, then he has ruled him self out then he has said he wants it, I'm sure if we look hard enough there is a source somewhere that has every possible scenario covered

I was quite impressed with him at Hull and was at Watford also until we became interested and for some reason Watford turned gash again.
To gauge a manager is not easy. You have to look at the state of team they take over, and what resources they have. Remember if Mourihnio took over Watford or the like then he couldn't spend money on the likes of Pogba or Lukaku and he would also have a struggle on his hands. Not saying Silva is the answer just saying it is not easy to gauge a manager with such limited resources. To be honest I would go for Benitez if he hadn't had that stint with the RS.

Mourinho is better as a manager the less he has to work with; thats why he only won the CL with Porto and Inter and why his greatest managerial accomplishment in this league was to save the world in the slip game (which lets not forget was done with half a team). Put him in a team with riches (either money, players, or both) and he will invariably ruin it after a while.

If he ever turned up here he'd probably be a massive success.
