I am such a div! I spent ages looking at those little arrows wondering what was so funny about it

Have a laugh mate, it's all we can do in our current state, isn't it?

But to humour you all: **** Liverpool! Everton 4EVA! BTW my more likes than posts would suggest I am not actually a RS. Relax man.

Never said you where a RS. Just pointing out that belittling Everton and bigging up the RS can be taken the wrong way and was taken the wrong way. It wasn't even funny so it was nothing to laugh at.

Do you think you will win the Champions League or not?

Now that was funny but maybe not to you. Point made. Carry on.

It may be worth comparing Fonseca and Silva during their time in the Portugese Liga NOS.

Let's focus on the 3 seasons that they both managed in that division (Fonseca stayed a season longer than Silva). During those 3 years SIlva managed Estoril for 2 seasons and Sporting for 1 season; Fonseca managed Pacos Ferreira for 2 seasons (separated by a season at Porto). For the sake of argument let's accept that Estoril and Pacos are broadly at similar levels and likewise for SPorting & Porto (although Fonseca may have the slight advantage of his teams being bigger clubs). I have accumulated the stats as Silva's season at Sporting did not coincide with Fonseca's season at Porto (Fonseca has slightly fewer games due to being relieved of his position at Porto). Silva it would appear only got sacked from Sporting because they wanted to appoint Jorge Jesus. The results do not necessarily support Fonseca as clearly being a better manager or support the idea that he would offer more defensive stability.

Silva Games - 94 Win % - 53% Goals F/A - 156/92 Points - 175 Points per Match - 1.86 Average League Position - 4
Fonseca
Games - 85 Win % - 46% Goals F/A - 121/90 Points - 144 Points per Match - 1.69 Average League Position - 4.6

In addition Silva won the Portugese second division in 11/12 with Estoril, Fonseca the same year came 3rd with Desportivo Aves

I've just got a really, really strong feeling that we'll regret it badly if we don't bring him in here. The guy is going to be a top manager in my opinion.

Based on what? I havent seen his teams play football, but all the articles Ive read makes him seem a Martinez v2.0, but with a lot less experience in England.

Hope this is a joke. West Ham's ownership is a shambles. Fonseca will have no money to work with. Nobody would choose west ham over everton. London is all they have going for them. I swear GOT is filled with RS. I believe that silva has been moshiris number one for a while.

The West Ham fans were close to full on revolt against the dildos earlier in the year. That hasn`t gone away.

They have as much crap to get rid of as us - Andy Carroll et al.

Their ground is a souless athletics stadium, that`s not going to change.

The dildos don`t / won`t pay the money we will pay a manager.

The dildos won`t give him the same transfer kitty as we will give put new manager.

Granted they are in London and that`s probably all they have going for them at the moment.

Don`t forget he`s been living in the Ukraine for the past two years, probably in a luxury gated compound or similar.

He`s obviously okay with living somewhere that hasn`t got the glitz of London / Paris etc.

Imo, I don`t think living in London will be the deciding factor in where he goes, his own ambition will.

Unless a Champs League club comes in for him, I think we are a more attractive proposition than West Ham at the mo.

He's gonna go to West Ham... Then we are going to be stuck with mid table managers like Silva or Howe... there goes our hopes and dreams again and we will most likely bring in Fat Sam again when we are floating around relegation
