This I could live with. Fonseca a cut above Silva for me.
There’s still hope.

No probs mateHe's got Kevs backing, this is all I wanted to see.
Thank you Kev xx
I have nothing against him arriving here. I just dont get the "Silva is a poor man's Fonseca" rationale. Fonseca's done ok in Euro competition...but then so too did Alex McLeish. Its not only that Dave, its the winning and the style of football, something weve been deprived of for a very long time barring Martinez first season which admittedly was enjoyable.
How does someone "desperately defend" a manager who gets us club points/match win records and extended cup runs?I want it to be Fonseca so I can morph into @davek and desperately defend my choice when he turns out to be massively underwhelming.
Make a change from being a smug/miserable git who has been proven right on just about every Everton managerial choice and signing for the last 4 years

Craig Shakespeare got Leicester to the quarters of the CL, knocking out Sevilla on the way.I have nothing against him arriving here. I just dont get the "Silva is a poor man's Fonseca" rationale. Fonseca's done ok in Euro competition...but then so too did Alex McLeish.
He near enough went on strike at Watford to be here when he was flying at Watford. What a bizarre comment.
You can fool yourself into believing that, but its not true. Every big manager and player is aware of the top 10 teams in the premier league.London vs Liverpool.
Happens all the time, and will continue to happen, unless it's Liverpool FC vs London. Most big managers/players don't even know we exist.
Exactly....Craigo Shakeseco would be feted for such a triumph.Craig Shakespeare got Leicester to the quarters of the CL, knocking out Sevilla on the way.
