On the contrary, he was very very keen by stuff i heard mate, but we had people who wanted 'premiership' experience so went a different way

Morgan, Baines, Williams, Ramirez, Mirallas, Martina, Klaassen, Besic, all gone. Siggy might not be able to play, either, although he at least works hard. Not sure about Rooney, Niasse, others.

But that's what SHOULD happen. Replace them all with 2 or 3 players.
