I was in Tesco last week and some older bloke wearing a mask was walking down the aisle the wrong way. The shop assistant pointed it out to him and instead of accepting it and apologising he got right in the assistant’s face and said “listen lad, I don’t need people like YOU TELLIN ME WHAT TO DO!! I’ve got terminal cancer you know!”I have no issues with people wearing them.
I have major issues with people thinking that it makes them invincible so that they can walk right next to you in supermarkets or stand for ages at the end of an aisle reading a tin of beans or whatever whilst everyone else waits for them to do something.
Usually the same type of person too.
I don't know how it is there, but in NY it's almost required by law when you enter any establishment. So I wear one when I have to. I do laugh at the people I see driving with one on.
I hate the mask, but I think anyone really caring if someone wears one is an idiot. It doesn't protect the person wearing it, it's a courtesy towards others. People refusing to wear one are more annoying because they're mostly attention seekers. Talking about freedom and this and that. It's so over blown with them.
