Shattered my right leg, did my PCL at the same time. A couple of months was spent in the Royal recovering and learning how to walk again.

Did you only need to use the one finger?
I've been extremely fortune to only ever incur soft tissue injuries as an adult (ankle ligaments partial tear, calf muscle tear) from sport.
As a kid I came off my mountain bike and took a chunk of flesh out of my arm just below the elbow joint. Really deep, seriously painful. Not possible to stitch due the position, apparently.

About 35 years ago a young lad in town here was sat on his skateboard going down a steepish hill on a road, at the junction he didn’t stop and ended up under the wheels of a lorry, think he could only have been about 10 at the time. Died instantly…… not sure what became of his skateboard
