After getting royally stitched up by her lawyer and mine being mates, I have no idea why but I have to pay my ex-wife maintenance (there are no children and no house).
So, every month, I wait until her lawyer threatens me, meaning she's already spent 50% of it on the letter, and then pay her cash.

Shes finally woke up to this today...

"Can you inform my lawyer that you have paid and set up a standing order please? Every month I have to chase you through him it costs me a lot of money."
