PFA to consider protective netting

Gordon Taylor is a massive ted, wish he would **** off. His unbearable fawning to the overpaid millionaires he now represents as head of the PFA is so tedious. Hate him.

Why not put a cage up around the pitch to stop fans getting on. Sure that worked well in the past.

Seriously though, I don't get the mentality of some 'fans'. They'll quite happily shout abuse at players and refs all game long, yet if a player gives some back or dares to 'incite' them by celebrating near them, they go nuts.

It's pretty pathetic.

You can't legislate against crazy. That's what those people are.

True but they must feel very passionate about their team if they get that angry when the opposition scores or wins the match.

Lifetime ban would absolutely kill them and stop others following suit.

More likely very very pissed.

We are poor for this, Suarez got pelted this season and whilst many people might scoff "Rightly so" or " He deserves what he gets? it doesnt make it right. I remember us playing away at Fulham a few years ago and their midfielder ( Cant remember his name , bald Danish guy) got struck on the head whilst he was preparing to take a corner and you could clearly see 10-20 of our fans who were nearest to him laughing.

Bit of a hazard don't you think? Plus if they put netting by the corner flags and behind the goal you will just get people sitting where its not protected (ie bullens and main stand) and throw things anyway?

What about the Upper Gwladys would they put a net there, missles can still be thrown from a higher point. You get people like that everywhere though when they concede, shouldn't have a place in football but sadly it is still there

stupid idea should be a straight ban for anyone caught and let the coppers deal with the [Poor language removed] problem with our country is that we are too happy to legislate for the [Poor language removed] in our society

1 guy throws a coin 30,000 dont = we put up nets

1 guy shoots someone with a registered firearm 100,000 odd thousand dont = tougher gun laws

its crazy we need to stop punishing the rest of us and instead deliver tougher punishments to the arseholes out there
