The main reason it gets peoples backs up is simple - why do other fans come on?
Usually it is just to wind people up, but sometimes there are genuine lads that come on for info/opinions - the Stoke lads for example, but we have had some absolute jokers - Porterfield and Karma, to name a couple of recent ones.
The red/blue divide is widening and I just don't see a realistic, sensible reason for kopites to come on here any more.

I think it's an age thing m8.
Although there was always banter, and yes, a little trouble, it was never as vicious when I started going to the matches, and certainly not for those of earlier generations.
Lads stood together at Derbies etc.
I think it's a trend of modern mentality which isn't limited to the world of football necessarily. I think the Liverpool lad got carried away a little with the occasion, but you have to consider how old he is, and then remember that any forum, or public house conversation etc, really doesn't reflect the views of the whole, regardless of team.
I'm probably a bit touchy at the moment, due to certain lads winding me up over the last few days, and they know who they are, but my hearts always been in the right place with this kind of stuff, and I hate seeing guys gang up on lads regardless.
I prefer to live and let live so to speak.
I like having other fans on here, if they're tits then they generally don't last. From their part they will have to realise were massively biased in our opinions, which Nev and the Stoke lads generally do.
As for the same lads deciding who are melts and that, I disagree. Regardless of how many posts id you post something that's wrong or [Poor language removed] then you'll get told it.
Hence the amount of fall outs. Some try to look for things which are simply not there.

The Derby amosphere is totally different now and the reds and blues side by side thing is unfortunately long gone, there is too much animosity now.
That is a bit of a sweeping statement but I think its generally true. Obviously there are still families split down the middle (my own son to my great embarrassment is a RS), but blood (Red or Blue) is thicker than water as they say.
My brother is a kopite, I abuse him hard. Its how it is. I wouldnt join RAWK and expect an easy ride, thats all im saying.
Near enough all my close mates are reds and most of my family too.
I want every bad thing in the world to happen to the club but when it comes to their fans, hate is too strong a word.

To be fair to the lad, things were pretty much light hearted banter untill Dave threw in the Munich comment, and then MG lost it leading to his infraction.

Fuuny little story, last week after the game I had to pick my Mums boyfriend up, he had been the pub to watch the match, so we get talking and I was ripping Liverpoo hard saying how crap their squad is and how much I hate Rafael, we get to his and he gets out and says, "Next time im getting a fecking taxi", made me laugh anyway.
I beg your pardon, ive only ever lost it once on here and I got rightly banned for it.
