I also know nothing about this Allen bloke but if he's twice the player P.E.H. is then if P.E.H. turns you down I hope you get him.

Concerns over can he do the transition from Serie A to the Prem but watched him in the CL against the Kopites and he was very good.

Just been reading the transfer thread, someone posted that Allen is 29 so as Levy likes to buy younger players with sell on value I doubt Spurs would be interested (although our dinosaur manager could be?)
I read P.E.H. is only 23 so he would probably be more on the radar than Allen?

Allan is a brilliant player. The only doubt is if he can adapt to the premier league...if he can then hes going to surprise a few people.

Real quality but at 29 its a risk.

I think it depends on the player, Gareth Barry played a similar position and was premier league standard till 35 at least. Although we played 451 so Barry had 2 in the center with him to do the running and Carlo wants to play a central midfield 2 so older, slower players could get exposed in that formation
