Pints

A Pint is

  • Too big

  • Too small

  • Just about right

  • I prefer my gravy in boats

  • I only drink from the skulls of my enemies

  • I don’t care that my whisky is served in.

  • What could be more British than a pint?

Looks like the Guardian is intent on stirring up yet more aggro on a subject nobody would ever think to care about.

What do “the millions” of GOT posters think of this vital new topic?

It's a quantity that has literally stood the test of time. It's a perfect measure. Generally, if it's a good day, two or more pints may be drunk. However, a 2 pint glass will allow time for the beer to go flat, warm, or sun-tainted. Si going back for another pint measure is a good thing.

Less than a pint is not enough ... unless you are a children.

That reporter, like most these days, is babbling nonsense for copy.

They can come and mangle our pronouns, but they cannot take our pints! The line is drawn here, no further!!

In total agreement mate.
The pint pot has stood the test of time, it is so much more than mere 'tradition' it's the perfect amount for one drink. :pint2:
I've never trusted anyone who drinks halfs.
