Historically we've been at home far more often...but our record of wins before xmas is far better than after xmas. In fact, the last time I remember us winning a Goodison derby played 2nd was in the 1980s. I've heard about requests but don't know how true.
There was a rumour a few years back I think, where teams make make a couple of requests. Pretty sure it was brought up that Liverpool actually request the 2nd derby game to be at home.
Might be wrong on that, but pretty sure it came up.
