What’s your favourite plane?

The A380 is easily my favourite. Sadly I was too young to have experienced Concorde, but that would’ve been my favourite by far. London to NYC in under 4 hours? Yes please!



As it is, the A380 is definitely the most comfortable plane I’ve ever been on and I’m delighted that they’re returning to service with many airlines.

10 years for me, flew down the River Mersey in one for my leaving gift off the Sqn I was on, was amazing.

I turned down a back-seater for a stag do in Norwich.

Not proud about it but I did somehow manage to pull a bird in a smoking jacket so you know, could be worse...

On the subject of military planes, I remember going to RIAT and getting to see the Vulcan. What an experience.

Beautiful aircraft, I sanded one down prior to a paint job in Wolves.

Fell asleep next to the fuselage on a pretty hot day and woke up with a pretty unfortunate tan line.
