Sorry to American friends here, but as a neutral, your team needs to make the next step of development in order to be consider a force in football. Playing with guts and strength to win games can only go so far, the next step up is to win with technical and tactical ability. I don't see much of these yesterday. I really hope you guys can reach that level soon, if there's any team that I hope to see as an emerging superpower in football, it's the team USA.

I know I've spent all weekend having pops at the americans but I have to disagree with this as well. I'd much rather a team like Honduras or Ghana or Uruguay or Scotland or someone else who really really care about football do well. I can't say I would get any pleasure out of a country largely indifferent to the game dominating in it.

No need to apologize it's results that count in any tournament. Dutch play attractive football but they haven't won the big one yet. Sort of like Wenger's Arsenal to much fuss not enough finish.

As a unbiased England supporter I thought that the USA deserved a draw but never a win ,lets be honest we missed sitters and I could have saved the shot you scored with.But I hope you have a good world cup.
