Player threads created by ignored user

Just wondering if player threads should remain visible regardless if you have the thread creator on ignore? As in the entire thread is hidden if you have the poster who created the thread on ignore, seems more rational that all current squad players threads should be assigned to @GrandOldTeam or an admin/mod

It's not that you can't see the thread, we just haven't signed Tyrone Mings yet mate.

Certainly neither of the two gentlemen above, but differentiating ignoring posts from complete threads would be a handy function, it seems strange when one or two of our senior players threads are hidden....

That would mess with the player sponsor thing, which is a nice way of raising a bit of extra money for the site. I just click on the show ignored thread every now and again if I know there's something happening with that particular player. It's not ideal, but it's not like you have to read or respond to the person's post

Yep that’s what I normally do, maybe just exclude player threads from whatever algorithm processes the ignore filter (not a shred of programming knowledge just musing)
