Haven't seen enough of him at senior level at Preston to be honest mate, but take your word for it, the fans and his manager seem to love him, to be fair Simms and Maupay themselves did well in the Championship.

That's a cracking goal by the lad though, real centre forwards goal.

PSV beat Cambuur 5-2. Jarrad Branthwaite played the full match. His goal was disallowed for offside. Joao Virginia still only on the bench for Cambuur.

JP Gbamin didn't get on the pitch for Trabzonspor and Dele Alli didn't even make the bench for Besiktas.

A goal and an assist for Tom Cannon in Preston's 2-1 win at Rotherham. Also hit the bar with a cheeky scoop over the keeper and had a goal ruled out for offside. Subbed off after 85 minutes for the much vaunted Liam Delap who can't get a start.

Lewis Gibson's Bristol Rovers lost 2-0 at home to Wycome. He played the full match.
