Players out on loan 2024/25

A vital 1-0 win for Derby in their relegation 6 pointer at Hull with the goal coming in the 84th minute. Derby are 1 point clear of the drop zone but it's really tight at the foot of the table - two out of six teams could go down. Harrison Armstrong was booked in the 40th minute but was still trusted to play the full game. 7 out of 10 from the Derbyshire Telegraph: "Was booked for simulation in the first half which seemed very harsh. Played forward when he could and got through a fair bit of work. Battled superbly."

Mason Holgate stuck on the bench for WBA as they drew 0-0 at Cardiff. Albion are 10th and can't reach the play offs.

Blackpool drew 1-1 at Wigan. They are 9th and also well off a play off spot. Only 5 out of 10 from the Gazette for Harry Tyrer who: "endured a nightmare start to the game, with a lapse of concentration seeing him get beaten at the front post for Wigan's opener."

Jenson Metcalfe went off injured after 32 minutes for Chesterfield against Morecambe. Chesterfield went on to win 4-1.

Billy Crellin not even on the bench for Accrington. Francis Okoronkwo still injured for Salford.

Eli Campbell played the full 90 for Ross County who lost 2-0 at Kilmarnock.

End of their loan spells for most of our loanees.

A 10th full match in a row for Harrison Armstrong as Derby avoided the drop with a scoreless draw at home to Stoke. Derby finished 19th. Sounds like another all action display. 7.5 out of 10 from the Derbyshire Telegraph: "Made a superb tackle to thwart Gallagher just as he sensed the chance to bear down on goal. Worked so hard in the middle of the pitch."

Mason Holgate not even on the bench for WBA who helped Derby out by relegating Luton with a 5-3 win. West Brom finished 9th.

Harry Tyrer signed off at Blackpool with a 4-1 win at home to Bristol Rovers. Not a great day for him though as his error cost his side a goal for the 2nd week running. 5 out of 10 from the Gazette: "Harry Tyrer was at fault with a huge error for the Pirates' opener, with the Everton loanee spending too long on the ball before being tackled by Gatlin O'Donkor in front of his own goal." Blackpool ended the season in 9th.

Francis Okoronkwo still injured for Salford who missed out on a play off place after only drawing 2-2 at Carlisle. Salford were 8th.

The season will go on for Jenson Metcalfe though whose Chesterfield pipped Salford to the final play off place. They scored fairly early at Accrington and held on to win 1-0. Jenson Metcalfe was subbed off in the 6th minute of stoppage time. Like Harrison Armstrong, it seems he is another young midfielder trusted by his manager to play the full 90 in tight matches. Chesterfield finished 7th. No sign of Billy Crellin for Accrington who were 21st but well above the drop zone.

Still a few games to go in Scotland but Eli Campbell was consigned to the bench after Ross County had suffered a 5 consecutive losses with him in the side. It didn't help much as they lost 3-1 at home to Hearts. Ross County are 2nd bottom and 2 points from safety.
