He really impressed at Chester a couple of seasons back. I think he was only 19 then, but the fans loved him.
….i’m certainly not against loans per se, I just think at a club like ours history suggests we don’t send our best academy prospects out. We’ve hardly ever brought a goalkeeper through, I’m old enough to remember Andy Rankin being a more than able deputy for Gordon West, so it’s a bit of an unknown for keepers.

Mason Holgate not even on the bench for WBA today. They drew 1-1 at Oxford conceding in added time.
Harry Tyrer conceded in stoppage time as Blackpool lost 2-1 at home to Barnsley. Apparently not at fault for either goal but only given a 5 out of 10 by the Gazette. Blackpool fall to 14th.
Tyler Onyango not in the squad again for Stockport who drew 1-1.

Mixed night for the loanees.
Harry Tyrer shipped 5 as Blackpool lost for the third consecutive match, 5-1 away at Peterborough. From the match report he didn't seem to be massively at fault for any of the goals but still got a 3/10 from the Gazette. "Harry Tyrer looks like a goalkeeper firmly lacking in confidence, with the Everton loanee unable to impose himself and command his box". Blackpool drop to 16th.

I don't get why. I live in Blackpool so watch them whenever they don't clash with us.
He's been very decent. I don't think he was at fault for any of the goals tonight. The whole Blackpool team has been off it for the last 2-3 games. But I suppose a goal keeper who's on loan is an easy target for the fans.
