Needed someone with decent credentials to come in and his work at Chesterfield was impressive. After losing Grimshaw to Plymouth and current incumbent O'Donnell not up to standard, in my view, then this bloke should get lots of game time.

91% in a recent poll preferred Tyrer in over O'Donnell so there you have it. Maybe our legendary new manager might give him a decent run soon.
 
Harry Tyrer made his league debut for Blackpool at home to Exeter and helped his side to their first win of the season. It finished 2-1.

Tyler Onyango played the full match as Stockport drew 1-1 at Crawley.
