In order to sell you need a buyer prepared to pay the same or more in wages.

That isn't going to happen for anyone as Moshiri/Kenwright hand out £100k a week contracts like confetti.

They have committed the club to around £400m in wages up until 2025.

If we did go down we'd be entirely reliant on Moshiri putting practically all the money in or we'd go out of business.

I don't think people realise just how much danger we are in of not having a club.

I have repeatedly posted that in other threads, not just a case of getting a decent offer but a player will not go if the wages are not there. Tosun is the big example.

That's why I put myko and Holgate in if we get a good offer, that's true of any of our players though.

Kenny I wouldn't bother keeping, we have Patterson, and Nkonkuku to come back as well.

From that lot I'd keep Begovic and Kenny as squad players. Delph, Tosun and Soggy off the wage bill will be massive. If on top of that we could shift 2 or 3 more (for example Keane, Gbamin and Gomes) we would have some potential to do something in the transfer window.

The problem is that most will end up staying. There will be some decent players amongst this squad but it's difficult to identify them given how bad they are as a collective unit.

Based on this year's performances I'd want Gray, Pickford and Gordon as the priorities to stay but if any of them left I wouldn't exactly be in floods of tears.

At the very least Delph, Tosun and Soggy will be off. If we can replace them with 3 solid first team players (and I realise this is a big if with our track record), then even if we can't get rid of any of the other wasters at least they'll be further down the pecking order and playing less games.
